Dixons Carphone advises 10m customers take ‘protective’ fraud me

The electrical and telecommunications retailer Dixons Carphone  are advising up to 10m customers to take ‘protective steps’ to prevent fraud after it came to light that some customers personal data may have fallen into the hands of hackers during a data breach on June 13th 2018. An investigation shows that none of these records held payment card or bank details however as a precautionary measure Dixons Carphone are contacting all their customers to apologise and advise on the steps they can take to protect themselves.
